Athens Airport Internet & e-services

In accordance with its customers' needs and wishes, the Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications offers a wide range of services.

Wireless Internet Zone (WIZ)

The Wireless Internet Zone Service is available within the airport's terminal areas and is offered for FREE for 45'. This service is accessible to laptops & palmtops (PDAs). The brand new WiZ portal offers detailed info on your flight status, news & promos of the airport's Shopping Centre, the e-tv service which allows you to watch tv channels & videos on your laptop and many more. The services of the WiZ portal are provided free of charge on a 24h basis. Of course, by clicking the "Connect to the Internet" banner, you get free access on the Internet for 45'. Upon the completion of the FREE period of 45' further access to the internet can be provided either through the Free Internet Access Points or through the Business Centre's facilities at a cost (Arrivals Level)

Business Centre

Located at the Arrivals Level, AIA's Business Centre is specially designed to fully meet the business needs of passengers/visitors in the fields of organisation and communication. Each office is equipped with:

- Personal PC with dial-up connection - Telephone set - Internet access - Printing & Faxing services - Photocopying services

Business Lounges

Children Creative Entertainment Area

AIA aiming to fully meet the needs of traveling families, created in cooperation with the non-profitable organisation "The Smile of the Child" a friendly, safe and innovative area for children. This innovative service, supervised by specially trained staff, enables children to creatively occupy themselves, and allows parents to leave their children in a safe place while handling travel procedures or shopping.

The Children's Creative Entertainment Area is located at the Departures Level (next to Gates B1-B2) and operates from 09.00 until 21.00. For further information please contact: Tel.: (+30) 210 3532414 or 210 3532445

Baby Rooms

In an effort to cover family needs, AIA has outfitted bathrooms and specially equipped baby rooms, ideal for feed and changing babies, at various locations (both public and passenger areas) throughout the Terminals as indicated by the baby care symbol For further information, please refer to Airport Information Services staff.

Unaccompanied Minors

Young passengers traveling on their own must be presented by their parent, legal guardian or authorized adult, to the airline's ground personnel, who is responsible to take care and safely deliver the child tothe airline's cabin crew.The parent or legal guarding must remain at the airport until the flight is airborne. Upon arrival, the child is escorted by the airline staff to the parent or legal guardian waiting at the Arrivals Level. The necessary documentation returning responsibility to the parent is completed. The parent is then escorted to the Baggage Reclaim Area to retrieve the child's luggage. Health Services

Athens International Airport provides airport passengers and visitors, as well as employees of the airport community, with sufficient medical care services. The fully equipped first aid station, the pharmacy and the airport's medical infrastructure are available on a 24-hour basis.

EKAV (National Centre for Emergency Care)
Thanks to its fully equipped first aid station, AIA provides prompt medical support in emergency situations. The station operates on a 24-hour basis.

AIA has installed several defibrillators, stored in special cabinets, located at both of the airport's buildings. Relevant signage has also been mounted for their easy identification.
